Meet with Jenn for a complete assessment of your health and nutrition history and set personalized goals to meet your health needs. Inbody body composition analysis included as appropriate.

Self-pay options are available for patients who would like to utilize our services.
We are unable to accept Medicaid, Ia Total Care, Amerigroup
Medicaid does not currently recognize private practice dietitians as providers. Iowa Total Care follows Medicaid insurance payout policies. Therefore ROOTS is unable to accept these coverage plans.

Body Composition Analysis
Our Inbody 570 composition scale is a non-invasive way to provide a detailed breakdown of your weight. This 30 second scan takes weight beyond just a number and includes a report explaining breakdown in lean muscle mass, body fat mass, water weight, and so much more.
$25 per use.
Set aside 15 minutes for your Inbody 570 assessment.
Patients will be asked to wear light clothing, but will only need to remove their shoes, socks, rings, and watches.
The Inbody 570 is not appropriate for those with a pacemaker or if currently pregnant.
A detailed result sheet will be printed and provided after a review of results with Jenn. Upon reading the results, patients can discuss with Jenn what the next steps look like.
An Inbody 570 assessment is included in all nutrition counseling sessions.

This fun, interactive reset is perfect for getting you eating WHOLE FOODS as the majority of your diet. While these 10 days are not a complete lifestyle, it is a great way to get you back to focusing on the foods that best fuel your body.

At ROOTS, we know that cooking with friends and family can be exciting and fun, yet intimidating, all at the same time. Take advantage of our group cooking classes and demonstrations to help you brush up on skills in the kitchen. Jenn will demonstrate basic cooking how-to's and help you transform your favorite dish into a healthy, balanced meal.
We have started our cooking demonstrations which are now open to the public! Please call the office to get on our call list for when demos are scheduled and open for sign-up.
The cost is $30 per person for a cooking demonstration.
Demos last about 45 minutes - 1 hour.
Payment is required at the time of sign-up for public demos.
Private demos are available. Please email office@rootsnutritioncounseling.com to inquire about a private group.
